Greetings Cosmonauts! The wait is semi-finally over! We will soon be restarting Ice Planet (ice.cosmicpe.me:19132) with tons of features, bug fixes and improvements. NOTE: Once the server IS finally up, there *may* be some difficulties in connecting to the server during the first hour. We may even have to whitelist it at times for maintenance. This is still just a possibility. TL;DR Don't mistake any server restarts in the first hour of release for reboot loops. Here's a LIVE update of what needs to be added and fixed before Ice Planet goes online. Combat: Respawn screen is not sent to the client during deaths by void in the End Dimension). This causes other bugs too. When the client rejoins the game: They still have the effects they had before their death. They still have their XP level. Potential duplication of inventory items. They are not sent to the default world spawn after they rejoin. Disable /duel command for a future rewrite featuring stakes. Rewardings: Add Legendary Item List. Add Godly Item List. [THIS IS NOT YET COMPLETED, this will be worked on in the future updates] Re-add and improve /vote rewards. Add Fallen Heroes and Gkit gems to Elite+ Item List. Make Ultimate and Legendary envoys spawn SpaceUndead and SpaceDemons. Custom Enchantments: Reforged does nothing. Lifesteal V and Arrow Lifesteal V are too OP. Detonate shows glitchy behaviour. Temporarily remove "Obsidian Destroyer" because there is currently no efficient way of changing the client's block break speed. Mobs: Undead Assassins show bugged behaviour. Force End Monsters to spawn on clay block. Factions API: When logged out in enemy territory, relogging after 15 minutes should teleport the logger to the default world spawn and the logger must be noticed about the cause of the force-teleportation. Client is not sent HP of players that don't have a faction or players that are neutral to your faction (nametag HP). /f TRUCE still needs an extensive API. Currently it's the same thing as /f ALLY but with different colours. [THIS IS NOT YET COMPLETED, this will be worked on in the future updates] SINCE IT'S A PRE-RELEASE, WILL THE PLANET BE GETTING A FULL RESET ONCE THE FINAL RELEASE IS OUT? No, the planet will not be getting a reset at all. "But what about the plausible duplications and exploitations?" Duplications, exploits etc will be handled in another way. The server will automatically create hourly backups, so in case of any exploitations, the server will be scheduled for a rollback once the exploit has been fixed. Do note that since this is a PRE-RELEASE, bugs are bound to happen and we won't be there for assisting 90% of the bugs. Really sorry, but a disclaimer! WILL I GET TO KEEP MY PREVIOUS RANK AND PERMISSIONS? Many of you were tweeting us this question. The answer is yes, you will get to keep your ranks and permissions. We've added a command that will take care of that for you: /migrate <old-account-username> <old-account-password> Scenario: Your username is Cosmonaut_246. You've already played on CosmicPE in the past and your password on CosmicPE was abcd123. Due to forced Xbox Live authentication, you now have to create an Xbox Live account to play on any 1.2+ MCPE servers. But... wait, a problem! Your username on Xbox Live has already been taken by someone. In that case, you can create an Xbox Live account with username of your choice. Let's say your new Xbox Live account's username is Skrrrrraaa. Now join the server as Skrrrrraaa and execute: /migrate Cosmonaut_246 abcd123. All the previous account data from Cosmonaut_246 gets transferred to Skrrrrraaa. WHEN CAN I EXPECT THE PRE-RELEASE TO GO LIVE? We are bad at making up estimates, so let's say by the end of this month (or before ).
